JAMES SMITH
Live Vocalist James Smith stammt aus Queens, New York und hat in seinem Musikerleben schon einige erfolgreiche Projekte gemeistert.
1995 wurde James Smith von der EMI-Electrola aus Deutschland kontaktiert, um mit der “Side by Side”-Production seine Hit Single “I like it” zu produzieren, die sich millionenfach auf der Bravo Hits 12 Compilation verkauft hat.
In den Folgejahren 1996 und 1997 war James auf Promotion Tour, als auch Special Guest bei TV-Shows wie Viva Interaktiv, RTL, Vampy Show, TM3 "Frieda", WDR "Lollo Rosso", und auch bei diversen Radio Shows wie NRJ, Radio Köln, Radio RPR, Radio ERFT, Radio 7, Radio NRW.
1998 schrieb James einen Song "My Little Princess" gebührend einer königlichen Privatsituation in Bulgarien und war darauf hin in der Hauptstadt Sofia bei der bekannten TV Sendung "The Tudor Kaliv Show!“ eingeladen.
Während dieser Zeit, war James bei Power Jam Records in Köln , welche ihn bei der Produktion von weiteren Songs wie den "Kangaroo Dance", "Time for Brazil" etc. unterstützten.
James wirkte auch bei vielen Charity- und Benefizevents mit, welche ihn mit der Gruppe „Voices“ zusammen führte, und schrieb erfolgreich Songs für das „Voices“ Album, das sich „The Truth“ nennt. Ein weltweites James Smith Album-Projekt ist in Planung.
James strebt es an, eine positive Einwirkung zu haben und für alle ein Vorzeigecharakter zu sein, vor allem für die Jugend aus aller Welt. Er hofft, Leute zu ermutigen und zu motivieren, dass alle ein besseres Morgen und Heute haben.
Wegen seines Auftrittes am „Stargate Premium Series 1“ Event am 4. April am Energy Clubfiles Floor in Vösendorf, haben wir den talentierten Live Vocalist zum „e-Interview“ gebeten.

1. When and how began your singer career?
James:
I started sing since I was a little Boy around 5 Years old in the church and as the years went by, I can say it was a good training singing in Church and having the experience just piling up ,going into teenage times and developing a interest later in life as people saw me in a professionally status, in other words started giving me Jobs as a singer. Which became a continues things, known as a Profession.
2. We infer from your biography that you are far travelled around internationally. Do you come for the Event “Stargate Premium Series 1” for the moment first to Vienna?
James:
Well, as far as “Stargate Premium Series 1” is concern, I am so happy to be in or step on the Grounds of Vienna, due to the History Backgrounds. It has a culture of its own. And when I say to people I am going to Vienna, they get excited, which motivates me to coming there.
3. In which land {country} you would hang up with pleasure which you have not performed yet?
James:
Africa, I am waiting for the day some one gives me a contract to go to Africa. I call it the mother land of the world.
4. What do you expect {await} from the Viennese party audience?
James:
Well, if it is anything, like I remember last years in November. They partied, and they partied, and they partied. The only thing I can say is, I hope to be fit when I step to the Party grounds of Vienna, so my energy and the energy of Vienna can unite like a Explosion of Ecstasy Happiness, and dancing and loving.
5. How do you appear {adapt yourself) to your performance?
James:
Being I have been singing for years in my life, I always learned Appearances is very important and necessary. As the years go by, I make it the Performance a warm happy atmosphere and giving such a Vibration that people feel good to coming again. Basically my adaptation is very easy, I feel as if I know the people already before getting there. Which makes it easy to mingle and hyping the crowd and the Joy of seeing the crowd with you, like one Big James Smith Family.
6. What is your favorite song?
James:
I cannot really say if I have a favorite song. When I was a little boy, I always love the Song from the Jackson 5 - I Want You Back. Again as years went by, I have many favourite songs. From Artist such as James Brown. Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, Barry White, Temptations, Four Tops, Sammy Davis Jr. and so on. I would have to write a Book just to name those Artist and Songs.
7. What kind of music do you mostly listen to?
James:
Because I started out with the Gospels and later had interest in Jazz, Soul, R&B, and even having the last few years involve with House and dance music. All great styles of music. I would have to say my first love was Gospel. And I going to ease myself and get a refreshing feeling when I hear Gospel , It brings Joy to my Spirit, and keeps me in tack with life, to know and remember where I came from. Meaning my background is from the church.
8. Where or what was your impressive party experience?
James:
I have two extraordinary exciting events and most impressive shows lies in the heart of Madeira, a small Islands of Portugal. Nearly 20.000 People having a great time. And a little island called Capri by Napoli. Islands of Italy. It was a like Singing in Heaven.
I really cannot explain how great this was I went there. I can only say once you have seen and experience Napoli, and this Italian coast. A famous saying once you have seen it, one say then happily die. Cause it is like Paradise.
9. What is your aim in life?
James:
To be happy, make people happy, to be the best person a person can be. And to share love and Joy, to motivate. To educate. To be or not to be - That is the Question! :)
